Responsibilities
- Develop guidelines, processes, and tools to support technical sales support.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers and internal employees.
- Assist with on-site field support for difficult or escalated jobs.
- Create, coordinate, and implement technical training programs.
- Partner with Branch Managers and Account Managers to support sales opportunities.
- Deliver technical training programs as a value-added service.
- Develop and improve warranty and unit exchange processes.
- Conduct HVAC-R technical training sessions and workshops.
- Maintain current technical knowledge of HVAC-R equipment.
- Provide technical service assistance during regular business hours and on-call support.
- Review, communicate, and help implement Technical Service Bulletins and product updates.
- Attend meetings, classes, and training sessions to stay current on industry trends and product changes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent (GED) required; B.A. or A.A. in related field preferred.
- 5+ years of HVAC field service experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under various conditions.
- Ability to make business decisions by an analytical and creative process.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
