Responsibilities
- Development, implementation and maintenance of educational materials for HVAC product and services training.
- Scheduling, organizing, facilitation and delivery of classroom, virtual classroom, and on-the-job training for branch personnel and customers.
- Developing and updating a variety of HVAC certification programs as necessary.
- Become certified trainer in vendor training programs (Kohler, Mitsubishi).
- Maintain records of HVAC training activities and employee attendance and progress.
- Coordinate learning delivery through personal facilitation, e-learning, vendor, and other educational organizations.
- Facilitate and support the integration of company marketing concepts and strategies within the sales function.
- Secure and generate new business for The Granite Group and identify HVAC contractors.
- Collaborate with purchasing and branch staff to identify necessary HVAC products.
- Ensure the HVAC sales training program meets current and future organizational needs.
- Stay updated on HVAC industry trends and continuously increase knowledge of HVAC products, local and federal requirements, technological advances, and strategies.
- Work with the VP of Marketing and manufacturers' representatives to organize counter days and other educational functions.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner and adhere to company safety policies.
- Assist branches with Wrightsoft as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in HVAC product and services training.
- Ability to develop and maintain educational materials for HVAC training.
- Knowledge of HVAC certification programs and vendor training programs (Kohler, Mitsubishi).
- Experience in coordinating and facilitating training sessions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using Wrightsoft.
