About the Role

This position provides oversight of reentry services within the Strength Through Restoration Independence Vision and Empowerment (STRIVE) program at the O'Daniel Unit and the Trust Health Restoration Independence Vision and Empowerment (THRIVE) program at the Bartlett unit. The role reports to the O'Daniel unit, Bartlett Unit, or the Division Austin Headquarters (4616 West Howard Lane) on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate groups and conduct quality assurance monitoring of case managers and peer facilitators, including documentation and case planning
• Coordinate and set up pre-release employment hiring events for program populations
• Plan and arrange program graduations
• Serve as a liaison with unit administration, partner divisions, and Windham staff
• Ensure coverage for all program class and group sessions
• Monitor participant progress and develop opportunities for interactive events
• Coordinate upcoming releases and collaborate with the Parole Division for "warm-hand off" classes
• Facilitate pre-release employment events and connect with employers
• Ensure participants' release needs are addressed

Requirements

• At least 6 years of work experience or a bachelor’s degree and 2 years of work experience
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working within programs designed to address trauma and support resiliency through education and resource linkages

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a supervisor of employees
• Understanding of the cycles of trauma and its impact on behavior, as well as knowledge of successful reentry outcomes to build individualized reintegration plans
• Ability to make community connections with resources and providers across the state to link individual participants based on need and location
