About the role

In this role, you'll oversee offender work crews and manage daily production, including planning and scheduling operations, ensuring machinery and equipment are properly maintained, and responding to emergencies when needed. You'll help maintain security by supervising offenders, assisting during count time, issuing and tracking tools, and assigning and supervising the work of others. You'll also perform various additional duties as needed to support smooth operations. This position supervises two staff members, so strong leadership skills are essential.

Requirements

To be considered, you must have at least 18 months of textile manufacturing experience or at least four years of general production experience. Criminal justice experience and experience supervising others are also desirable.

Additional Information

Retiree salary will be 2.5% less than the posted salary. Travel is not required, but the position may make day trips. The position requires pre-service training academy and is considered a hazardous duty/longevity position.
