About the role

These positions report to garment factories at the Hilltop Unit, Hughes Unit, McConnell, and Wainwright Unit. The specific factory you report to will depend on the position for which you are selected.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee garment factory operations and ensure security within the facility
  • Provide direct supervision of incarcerated inmates working in the garment factories
  • Manage the manufacturing and production of inmate clothing for the agency
  • Perform administrative duties related to factory operations

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Meet one of the following experience pathways:
    • One year of garment manufacturing experience
    • Three years of production or manufacturing experience
    • 60 college hours plus one year of production or manufacturing experience
