Tax Support Associate - Retail

Role Overview: A TurboTax - Retail Expert provides in-person tax assistance at retail locations, leveraging tax expertise to prepare returns, offer advice, and support software usage. They serve as community ambassadors, engaging prospects, building relationships, and promoting TurboTax services locally. Responsibilities Deliver hands-on tax preparation and advice for simple to complex tax situations, maximizing refunds and minimizing liabilities.Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism, personalized service, and ongoing relationship building.Actively promote TurboTax in the community, engaging prospects, participating in local marketing, and developing a social presence.Support community outreach efforts, including speaking at events and creating educational content. Qualifications & Skills Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax law.Experience filing 30+ federal and state individual tax returns annually using professional software.Strong communication skills, bilingual ability (English/Spanish) a plus, and proficiency with tax software and CRM tools.Willingness to work onsite, wear a uniform, and operate in a retail environment.Entrepreneurial mindset, high empathy, and customer service focus, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Additional Attributes: Passion for empowering customers, community engagement, self-driven, and tech-savvy. Must reside in the U.S. and obtain necessary state licenses if required.
