Tax Support Associate - Retail

Role Overview: The TurboTax Retail Expert is responsible for providing in-person tax assistance at retail or flagship locations, serving as a trusted advisor to customers. Key Responsibilities: Offer comprehensive tax advice and full-service tax return preparation, handle diverse tax situations, identify deductions, minimize liabilities, and maximize refunds. Build long-term customer relationships through exceptional service and personalized support. Actively engage with the community as a local ambassador, participate in marketing efforts, and attract new clients. Use TurboTax tools and resources to deliver accurate solutions and create accessible tax content. Address customer inquiries and help them navigate tax challenges both in-person and via video communication.Qualifications & Skills: Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experience filing 30+ federal and state returns annually. Knowledge of tax law, familiarity with Circular 230, and current PTIN required. Strong communication skills, bilingual abilities a plus, and proficiency with tax software and CRM tools. Ability to work onsite, demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit, and provide high-quality customer service in a retail environment.
