Tax Support Associate - Retail

Role Overview The TurboTax Retail Expert is a on-site, customer-facing professional responsible for providing comprehensive tax services in retail or flagship locations. Key Responsibilities Offer personalized tax advice and prepare tax returns for a variety of complex situations, including individual and business filings.Build long-term client relationships by delivering exceptional customer service and fostering community engagement.Act as a community ambassador, promoting TurboTax services, engaging prospects, and participating in local marketing efforts.Utilize tax software, government resources, and professional tools to ensure accurate, personalized solutions.Educate clients on tax strategies and future planning to optimize financial outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experience, including filing 30+ federal and state returns annually.Knowledge of tax law, Circular 230, and the ability to work onsite in a retail environment.Strong communication skills, bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) a plus, and proficiency with tax software and CRM tools.Entrepreneurial mindset, high empathy, and excellent customer service skills.Willingness to wear a uniform and engage with the community through content creation and outreach.
