Tax Support Associate - Retail

Role Overview We are seeking motivated Retail Experts to provide in-person tax assistance at TurboTax retail or flagship locations across the U.S. You will leverage your tax expertise to offer comprehensive tax return preparation, advice, and software support, helping customers navigate complex tax situations and maximize refunds. A key aspect involves building long-term relationships within the community, attracting new clients, and promoting TurboTax services through local marketing efforts. Responsibilities Include Representing TurboTax as a community ambassador, engaging prospects, and fostering loyalty.Providing hands-on tax advice for simple to complex cases, including deductions and future planning.Creating an exceptional customer experience through professionalism, personalized service, and addressing inquiries.Contributing to local marketing and content creation to build community presence. Qualifications & Skills Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experience.Experience filing 30+ federal and state individual tax returns using professional software.Knowledge of tax law, Circular 230, and legal requirements like PTIN.Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) are a plus.Comfort working onsite, in a retail environment, with a flexible schedule.Entrepreneurial mindset, customer-focused, tech-savvy, and community-oriented.
