Tax Support Associate - Retail

Role Overview: This position involves providing in-person tax assistance at designated retail or flagship locations, serving as a trusted advisor to customers using TurboTax products. Key Responsibilities Community Engagement: Represent TurboTax locally, attract new clients, and foster long-term relationships through outreach and marketing activities. Tax Expertise: Offer hands-on tax preparation, advice, and planning for simple to complex tax situations, optimizing deductions and refunds. Customer Experience: Deliver exceptional service by understanding client needs, addressing inquiries, and building trust to encourage repeat business. Qualifications & Skills Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experience, including filing 30+ federal and state returns annually.Proficiency with professional tax software and familiarity with Circular 230 regulations.Comfort working onsite in a retail environment for a minimum of 20 hours weekly, with flexibility during busy periods.Strong communication skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) and experience in holistic tax advisory services are a plus.
