Tax Support Associate - Retail

Role Overview: This position involves serving as a dedicated retail tax expert at a TurboTax location, providing in-person tax advice, full-service tax return preparation, and software support to customers. Key Responsibilities: Act as a community ambassador by representing TurboTax locally, engaging prospects, and building long-term client relationships. Provide expert tax assistance, handling various tax situations, uncovering deductions, minimizing liabilities, and offering future planning advice. Deliver an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and personalized service, both in-person and via video communication. Support local marketing efforts to attract new clients and foster community engagement. Qualifications & Skills: Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experience, filing 30+ tax returns annually. Must hold or obtain necessary licenses and PTIN. Familiarity with Circular 230 and professional tax software is required. Bilingual skills are a plus. Strong communication, customer service, and technology proficiency are essential, along with a passion for community engagement and a business ownership mindset. Additional Details: Must work onsite, operate in a retail environment, and be willing to wear a uniform. Residing within the U.S. is required. Compensation includes base pay, bonuses, and benefits, with pay based on skills, experience, and location.
