Tax Support Associate - Retail

Role Overview Seeking motivated individuals to serve as TurboTax Retail Experts at retail or flagship locations across the U.S., providing in-person tax assistance and building community engagement. This role involves offering full-service tax preparation, advice, and support for diverse customer needs, from simple to complex tax situations. Experts will act as trusted advisors, helping clients maximize refunds, minimize liabilities, and plan for the future. Key Responsibilities Community Engagement: Act as a local ambassador, attracting new clients through outreach and marketing efforts.Tax Expertise: Deliver hands-on tax services, conduct discovery sessions, and utilize resources to ensure accurate, personalized solutions.Customer Experience: Provide professional, empathetic service to foster trust, address inquiries, and turn transactions into long-term relationships. Qualifications & Skills Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experience.Proficient in preparing at least 30 federal and state individual tax returns annually.Familiarity with Circular 230 and possession of or ability to obtain necessary licenses.Comfortable working onsite, engaging with customers in a retail environment, and creating content to educate the community.Strong communication, customer service, and technology skills; bilingual ability is a plus.
