Tax Professional - Retail

Role Overview The TurboTax Retail Expert is a key in-person advisor responsible for providing comprehensive tax services and building community relationships at retail or flagship locations. Responsibilities Offer hands-on tax advice, complete tax return preparation, and support customers with complex to simple tax situations.Identify deductions, optimize refunds, and deliver personalized tax planning using professional tools and resources.Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine assistance, fostering long-term trust.Actively promote TurboTax within the community, attract new clients, and participate in local marketing efforts.Engage with clients both in-person and via digital communication, addressing inquiries and overcoming tax challenges. Qualifications & Skills Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experience filing 30+ federal and state returns annually.Knowledge of tax laws, familiarity with Circular 230, and ability to obtain necessary state licenses.Strong communication skills, tech proficiency, and a customer-centric, entrepreneurial mindset.Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) and experience in holistic tax advising are a plus.Willingness to work onsite, wear a uniform, and be a front-facing representative of TurboTax.
