Tax Professional - Retail

Role Overview: The TurboTax Retail Expert is a on-site, community-focused professional responsible for providing in-person tax advice, preparation, and support at retail or flagship locations across the U.S. Key Responsibilities Serve as a trusted advisor, delivering full-service tax return preparation and personalized tax solutions for diverse customer needs.Engage with the community as a proactive ambassador, attracting new clients and fostering long-term relationships through local marketing and outreach.Assist customers with complex tax situations, uncover deductions, optimize refunds, and provide future tax planning guidance.Create an exceptional customer experience by building trust, addressing inquiries, and helping clients achieve financial goals.Contribute to community engagement efforts, including speaking at events and creating accessible tax content. Qualifications & Skills Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with substantial tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax law.Minimum of 3 years preparing 30+ federal and state individual tax returns annually using professional software.Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) and ability to obtain state licenses if needed.Comfortable working onsite, with strong communication, customer service, and technology skills.Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus; entrepreneurial mindset and community engagement enthusiasm required.
