Tax Expert - Retail

Role Overview: The TurboTax Retail Expert serves as a trusted in-person advisor at retail or flagship locations, providing comprehensive tax services and support to customers. Key Responsibilities Offer hands-on tax advice, prepare tax returns, and assist with complex tax situations such as deductions, amendments, and planning.Engage with the community as a proactive ambassador, attracting new clients and fostering long-term relationships through local marketing initiatives.Create an exceptional customer experience by understanding individual financial goals and delivering personalized, professional service both in-person and via video communication tools.Utilize tax resources, government websites, and team expertise to ensure accurate solutions and maximize refunds. Qualifications & Skills Active EA, CPA, or attorney license, with at least 3 years of experience preparing 30+ federal and state individual tax returns annually.Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) and familiarity with Circular 230 regulations.Comfortable working onsite, engaging with diverse clients, and working in a retail environment.Strong communication skills, technology proficiency, and a passion for empowering customers and engaging with the community.Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) and entrepreneurial mindset are advantageous.
