Tax Expert - Retail

Role Overview: This position involves serving as a dedicated TurboTax Retail Expert at local retail or flagship locations, providing in-person tax assistance and building strong community relationships. Responsibilities Offer hands-on tax advice and prepare returns for various tax situations, including personal and business income.Conduct discovery sessions to identify deductions, minimize liabilities, and maximize refunds, using professional resources.Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and personalized support, fostering long-term client trust.Act as a community ambassador, engaging prospects, supporting local marketing efforts, and building a social presence.Support community outreach by speaking at events and creating tax-related content. Qualifications & Skills Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with deep tax law knowledge and a minimum of 3 years of experience filing 30+ federal and state tax returns annually.Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) required; willingness to obtain necessary state licenses.Comfortable working onsite, with strong communication skills, bilingual ability a plus.Entrepreneurial mindset, customer service-oriented, tech-savvy, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.Willing to wear a uniform and work in a retail environment.
