Tax Expert - Retail

Role Overview The TurboTax Retail Expert provides in-person tax advice, preparation, and support at retail locations, serving as a trusted community advisor. Responsibilities Include Offering full-service tax return preparation for simple to complex cases, including deductions, amendments, and planning.Engaging with customers to understand their unique financial situations and building long-term relationships.Serving as a community ambassador, promoting TurboTax locally and participating in marketing efforts.Supporting community outreach by attracting new clients and fostering customer loyalty.Utilizing TurboTax tools and resources to deliver accurate, personalized tax solutions.Providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and helping clients achieve financial goals. Qualifications & Skills Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experience filing over 30 federal and state returns annually.Knowledge of tax law, familiarity with Circular 230, and possession of PTIN.Comfort working onsite in a retail environment, with strong communication and tech skills.Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with high empathy and customer service skills.Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.Willingness to wear a uniform and work in a front-facing role.
