Tax Expert - Retail

About the role

We are seeking dedicated Retail Experts to provide in-person tax assistance at TurboTax retail locations across the country.

Responsibilities

• Offering comprehensive tax preparation, advice, and support for a variety of tax situations, including personal and business filings.
• Building long-term client relationships through personalized service and community engagement.
• Serving as a local ambassador by participating in marketing efforts, outreach, and community events to promote TurboTax services.
• Delivering exceptional customer experiences by understanding client needs, optimizing refunds, and providing future tax planning guidance.
• Utilizing tax expertise and resources to ensure accurate, compliant, and accessible tax solutions.

Qualifications

• Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experience.
• Proficiency with tax software, knowledge of tax law, and ability to handle complex filings.
• Strong communication skills, customer service orientation, and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Willingness to work onsite, wear a uniform, and engage with the community.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) and experience in holistic tax advisory are advantageous.
