Role Overview: The TurboTax Retail Expert is a onsite, customer-focused professional responsible for providing comprehensive tax services at retail locations. Key Responsibilities Serve as a trusted advisor, delivering hands-on tax preparation, advice, and support for simple to complex tax situations.Engage with the community as a proactive ambassador, attracting and nurturing clients, and participating in local marketing efforts.Create an exceptional customer experience by understanding individual financial goals and building long-term relationships.Utilize tax knowledge, resources, and software tools to maximize deductions, minimize liabilities, and optimize refunds.Contribute to community engagement through content creation, events, and local outreach to enhance TurboTax’s presence. Qualifications & Skills Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experience, including filing 30+ federal and state returns annually.Current PTIN and familiarity with Circular 230 regulations.Comfortable working onsite, in a retail environment, with strong communication skills, bilingual abilities a plus.Entrepreneurial mindset, tech-savvy, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.Ability to build community presence, create accessible content, and work independently in a fast-paced setting.
