Tax Expert - Retail

Role Overview The TurboTax Retail Expert is responsible for providing in-person tax advice, full-service tax return preparation, and software support at retail or flagship locations. They serve as trusted community ambassadors, engaging with prospects, nurturing leads, and building long-term client relationships to promote customer loyalty and community growth. Key Responsibilities Deliver personalized tax services for simple to complex situations, optimizing deductions and refunds.Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews, utilizing professional resources and clear language.Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism, empathy, and financial goal support.Represent TurboTax locally, participate in marketing efforts, and foster community engagement. Qualifications & Skills Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax law.PTIN holder and able to obtain necessary state licenses.Comfortable working onsite, with strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities a plus.Entrepreneurial mindset, customer-focused, tech-savvy, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
