Tax Expert - Retail

Role Overview The TurboTax Retail Expert is a dedicated, in-person professional responsible for providing comprehensive tax services at retail locations. Key Responsibilities Serve as a trusted advisor, offering full-service tax return preparation, advice, and support for a range of tax situations.Engage with customers to understand their unique financial needs, helping them optimize deductions and maximize refunds.Build long-term relationships within the local community, attracting new clients and increasing customer loyalty.Act as a community ambassador, representing TurboTax and making tax topics accessible through marketing and outreach efforts.Deliver an exceptional customer experience with professionalism, empathy, and personalized assistance. Qualifications & Skills Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experience.Proficiency with tax software and familiarity with tax law, Circular 230, and federal/state filing requirements.Ability to work onsite, communicate effectively, and create a welcoming environment.Entrepreneurial mindset, strong customer service skills, and high adaptability to a fast-paced setting.Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) and experience in holistic tax advisory services are a plus.
