Supervising Program Technician II

About the role

The Supervising Program Technician II (SPT) position supervises, plans, organizes, and directs technical staff in the Dealer Call Center (DCC) within the Dealer Support Unit. The DCC provides call center services related to beverage retailers in accordance with the California Beverage Container Recycling and Litter Reduction Act (Act) and Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, trains, and guides staff to complete tasks and responsibilities associated with the DCC.
• Coordinates the development of work procedures and products of the DCC.
• May be required to independently travel overnight to program sites and events.
• Must have and maintain a current valid California driver's license.
• May be eligible for hybrid telework under Government Code 14200, subject to eligibility criteria.

Requirements

• A valid California Driver's License (CDL).

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification. They must also have the ability to work independently, manage a team, and coordinate work procedures.
