Supervising Program Technician II
About the role
The SPT II is a first line working supervisor in the Criminal Record Update Section (CRUS) whose responsibilities include distributing, monitoring, and prioritizing the workload of staff; maintaining work quality assurance; identifying and resolving potential errors; training, advising, and assisting personnel who update data to the Automated Criminal History System (ACHS) via the Justice Automated Data Exchange (JADE); and coordinating work with other units within the Department.
Responsibilities
- Distribute, monitor, and prioritize the workload of staff.
- Maintain work quality assurance.
- Identify and resolve potential errors.
- Train, advise, and assist personnel who update data to ACHS via JADE.
- Cook up and evaluate attendance and work performance.
- Take appropriate corrective action when necessary.
- Develop memorandums, correspondence, and personnel documents as needed.

Qualifications
- New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.
