About the role
The Adult Residential Support Professional provides supervision, support, and positive role modeling to residents in a 42-bed substance use treatment facility.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with residents
- Observe and document resident behaviors
- Support residents in achieving their treatment goals
- Respond to emergencies
- Administer medications
- Assist with daily activities such as meals and transportation
- Collect urine specimens
- Facilitate life skills groups
- Maintain confidentiality
- Attend required trainings
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background and medical clearances
Qualifications
- Experience in behavioral health or related fields (preferred)
- College coursework (preferred)
- Relevant certifications (preferred)
- Ability to complete necessary training
Schedule
Full-time position on the 2nd shift; requires physical activity and occasional outdoor supervision.
