Substance Use Treatment Support - Evening Shift, No Degree Required
About the role
Providing supervision, support, and positive role modeling to residents; building professional relationships; observing, documenting, and reporting behaviors; supporting treatment goals; responding to emergencies; monitoring medications; assisting with daily activities such as meal prep and housekeeping; transporting residents; collecting urine specimens and administering tests; facilitating educational and life skills groups; maintaining confidentiality; attending meetings and trainings; and performing additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background and medical clearances
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries
Preferred qualifications include experience in substance use or behavioral health fields, relevant coursework, and completion of DHS 83 training or willingness to obtain it.
Work Environment
Residential treatment setting requiring physical activity such as standing, walking, and outdoor supervision, with occasional local travel.
Position Requirements
Position requires a male staff member capable of conducting urinalyses due to contractual requirements.
