Store Manager - Full-Time

Role Overview

The Store Manager oversees all store operations, including staffing, training, merchandising, inventory, and customer service, ensuring effective implementation of store processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and retain qualified employees in compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Manage store opening and closing procedures, ensuring adequate staffing and security.
• Analyze financial statements to identify business trends, control expenses, and improve profitability.
• Ensure proper inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandise presentation according to company standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, control damages, and oversee cash handling and security procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service, maintain a clean and safe store environment, and ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
• Complete required documentation and foster a collaborative, responsive team environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong reading, math, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, and merchandising practices.
• Experience in retail management; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bilingual Spanish speakers may be preferred in some locations.

Physical & Work Environment

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
• Occasional climbing and driving for store-related tasks.
• Fast-paced environment with moderate noise and exposure to outside weather.
