About the Role

This position involves managing store operations, including staffing, training, inventory, merchandising, and customer service. The role requires analyzing sales and expense data, managing ordering processes, and overseeing cash handling and security protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and retain qualified employees.
  • Conduct performance evaluations.
  • Ensure store safety and compliance.
  • Control inventory levels and maintain a clean, organized, and secure environment.
  • Lead store staff, promote safety, and ensure proper store opening and closing.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain product presentation.
  • Ensure financial integrity through cash control and security practices.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a positive shopping environment.
  • Complete documentation and adhere to company policies.

Requirements

  • Ability to interpret operational documents and perform mathematical calculations.
  • Knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, and merchandising practices.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in recruiting, hiring, training, and ensuring legal compliance.

Qualifications

  • Preferred high school diploma and management experience in retail.
  • Bilingual skills may be advantageous.

Working Conditions

  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
  • Handling merchandise, operating equipment, and occasional outdoor exposure.
  • Fast-paced environment with moderate noise.
  • Requires transportation for store visits.
