About the Role

The Store Manager oversees all store operations, including staffing, inventory, sales, and customer service, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate employees, ensuring proper staffing and adherence to labor laws.
  • Manage store opening and closing, conduct performance reviews, and handle employee relations.
  • Analyze financial statements to identify trends, control expenses, and maximize profitability.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through ordering, stock presentation, and cycle counts.
  • Ensure merchandise presentation aligns with company standards and maintain a clean, safe store environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and foster a positive shopping experience.
  • Adhere to cash handling, security, and safety policies, including cash register operations and facility controls.
  • Complete documentation and reports in accordance with guidelines.

Requirements

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of retail merchandising, inventory management, and cash procedures.
  • Ability to interpret manuals, perform calculations, and solve problems.
  • Preferred management experience in retail and a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingual skills may be preferred for some locations.

Physical & Working Conditions

  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds.
  • Occasional climbing and outdoor exposure.
  • Fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels and occasional travel for store visits or deposits.
