Store Manager - Full-Time

About the role

Responsible for managing all store employees and overseeing daily operations, including staffing, training, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, train, and evaluate employees to ensure proper staffing and performance.
• Communicate performance expectations, conduct safety meetings, and promote store policies.
• Manage store opening and closing, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Analyze financial statements to identify sales trends, control expenses, and minimize shrinkage.
• Order merchandise to meet stock targets and oversee inventory accuracy.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation, pricing, and signage adherence.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Uphold cash handling and security policies, ensuring financial integrity.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a positive shopping experience.
• Complete all required documentation and adhere to company policies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of inventory, merchandising, cash handling, and safety procedures.
• Ability to interpret operational documents and perform basic math calculations.
• Experience in retail management and recruiting preferred; high school diploma or equivalent desired.
• Bilingual skills may be a plus in certain locations.

Physical & Work Environment

Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds. Occasional use of ladders, driving, and exposure to outdoor weather. Fast-paced setting with moderate noise levels.
