Role Overview

Responsible for managing store operations, including staffing, inventory, merchandising, and customer service to ensure effective store performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and retain qualified employees, ensuring proper staffing and compliance with labor laws.
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback, conduct evaluations, and address employee development or disciplinary actions.
  • Make recommendations on pay rates and advancement opportunities.
  • Open and close the store, oversee daily operations, and ensure adherence to safety and security policies.
  • Analyze sales and operational data to identify trends, control expenses, and optimize profitability.
  • Manage inventory levels through ordering, cycle counts, and stock presentation according to company standards.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling, cashier accountability, and store security measures.
  • Lead superior customer service efforts and maintain a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment.
  • Implement company policies, complete documentation, and ensure compliance across all store activities.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Ability to interpret operational documents, perform mathematical calculations, and manage inventory.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of cash handling, security, and merchandising practices.
  • Bilingual skills may be preferred in certain locations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; management experience in retail is preferred.

Physical & Work Environment

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, and occasional climbing.
  • Must have reliable transportation for store-related tasks.
  • Fast-paced environment with moderate noise and potential exposure to outside weather conditions.
