Store Manager - Full Time

About the Role

Responsible for managing store operations, staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. Ensures effective implementation of processes including ordering, stocking, merchandising, and customer service. Maintains store appearance, inventory accuracy, and financial integrity through cash handling and security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and retain qualified employees, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Conduct performance evaluations, address gaps, and recommend pay and advancement opportunities.
• Communicate expectations on performance, conduct, and safety; facilitate meetings to promote safety and security.
• Oversee store opening and closing, ensuring proper staffing and operational efficiency.
• Analyze sales, profitability, and expenses; identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stock presentation according to company standards.
• Ensure merchandise presentation, signage, and pricing meet established practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure store environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Complete necessary documentation and adhere to policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to interpret operational documents, perform mathematical calculations, and handle cash procedures.
• Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and safety policies.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in retail management preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
• Bilingual abilities may be preferred in some locations.

Physical & Work Environment

• Involves frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
• Occasional exposure to outside conditions.
• Requires regular use of equipment like scanners, pricing guns, and carts.
• Fast-paced setting with moderate noise levels.
