Store Manager - Full Time

About the role

Responsible for managing all store employees and ensuring effective execution of store processes, including ordering, stocking, presentation, sales, staffing, and support. The position emphasizes leadership, compliance, and customer service to support store success.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, train, evaluate, and retain qualified staff while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Communicate performance, safety, and conduct expectations; conduct performance reviews and address gaps.
• Manage store operations by opening and closing as scheduled, analyzing financial statements, controlling inventory, and maintaining merchandise presentation.
• Ensure excellent customer service, a clean, safe environment, and adherence to security and cash handling procedures.
• Complete required documentation and follow company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Preferred high school diploma and management experience in retail. Bi-lingual skills may be advantageous depending on location.

Skills

• Ability to interpret documents, perform mathematical calculations, and handle cash procedures.
• Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and safety practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, and occasional climbing. Use of equipment such as scanners, pricing guns, and carts. Fast-paced setting with exposure to outside weather conditions at times.
