Store Manager - Full Time

Role Overview

Responsible for managing store employees, implementing store processes, and maintaining store operations.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, train, evaluate, and retain staff in compliance with laws and policies.
• Communicate performance, conduct, safety expectations; conduct meetings to promote safety and policy adherence.
• Open and close the store regularly, ensuring proper staffing and operational efficiency.
• Analyze financial statements to identify trends, control expenses, and reduce shrinkage.
• Manage inventory through ordering, stocking, and cycle counts to meet in-stock targets.
• Ensure merchandise presentation aligns with company standards, including pricing and signage.
• Maintain accurate inventory, control damages, markdowns, and cash handling procedures.
• Lead customer service efforts, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized shopping environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, complete documentation accurately and timely.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to interpret operational documents and perform mathematical calculations.
• Knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, and merchandising practices.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in retail management preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
• Strong leadership to support staff development and store ownership mindset.

Physical & Working Conditions

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 40-55 pounds, occasional climbing, and driving.
• Fast-paced environment with moderate noise; exposure to outside weather conditions at times.
