Store Manager - Full Time

About the role

Store Manager responsible for overseeing all store operations, including staffing, inventory management, merchandising, customer service, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, train, evaluate, and retain qualified staff while ensuring proper staffing levels.
• Lead staff performance through regular communication, coaching, and conducting performance reviews.
• Manage store opening and closing procedures, including personally opening and closing the store as needed.
• Analyze operating statements to identify sales trends, control expenses, and reduce shrinkage.
• Ensure merchandise is stocked, presented, and priced according to company standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and oversee ordering processes.
• Ensure cash handling and security procedures are followed to maintain financial integrity.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean, safe store environment.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards, completing all required documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and merchandising practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret documents, perform calculations, and handle cash procedures.
• Experience in recruiting, hiring, counseling, and ensuring legal compliance.
• Bilingual skills may be preferred depending on location.

Experience & Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Management experience in retail environment is advantageous.

Physical & Working Conditions

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, and operating equipment; fast-paced environment with moderate noise and occasional outside weather exposure.
