Store Manager - Full Time

Role Overview

Responsible for managing store operations, including staffing, training, inventory, merchandising, and customer service to ensure efficient store performance and a positive shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, train, evaluate, and retain qualified employees, ensuring proper staffing and adherence to labor laws.
• Provide leadership in performance management, conduct safety and conduct meetings, and promote a safe, secure, and compliant workplace.
• Oversee store opening and closing, analyze operating statements to identify business trends, and manage inventory levels through ordering and cycle counts.
• Ensure merchandise presentation, pricing, and signage meet company standards, and control damages, markdowns, and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain cash handling integrity, security protocols, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and compliant with company policies and safety procedures.
• Complete required documentation and communicate effectively with staff and management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to interpret manuals, perform mathematical calculations, and manage cash handling procedures.
• Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and safety controls.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent; management experience in retail is advantageous.
• Some locations may prefer bilingual Spanish speakers.

Physical & Work Environment

Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, and operating equipment; fast-paced environment with occasional outdoor exposure.
