Store Manager - Full-Time

Role Overview

Responsible for managing store operations, including staffing, training, inventory, sales, and customer service to ensure efficient and profitable store performance.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, train, and evaluate employees; ensure proper staffing and compliance with labor laws.
• Lead performance management, conduct evaluations, and recommend pay/advancement decisions.
• Oversee daily store opening and closing; facilitate communication on safety, conduct, and policies.
• Analyze operating statements to identify trends, control expenses, and reduce shrinkage.
• Manage inventory levels, ordering, and merchandise presentation according to company standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory, cash handling, and security procedures.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a clean, safe shopping environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and complete all required documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to interpret documents, perform basic math, and operate cash registers.
• Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and safety procedures.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent; management experience in retail is a plus.
• Certain locations may prefer bilingual (Spanish) speakers.

Physical & Work Environment

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 40-55 pounds, and occasional climbing.
• Must have reliable transportation for store-related tasks.
• Fast-paced setting with moderate noise and exposure to weather conditions.
