Store Manager - Full Time

Role Overview

Responsible for managing store operations, staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to ensure efficient store processes such as ordering, stocking, presentation, and sales. The role involves maintaining inventory accuracy, controlling expenses, and ensuring compliance with safety and security policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, and retain qualified employees, ensuring proper staffing and conducting performance reviews.
• Train staff, communicate performance expectations, and foster a safe, secure environment.
• Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, merchandise staging, and presentation according to company standards.
• Analyze operating statements to identify trends, control expenses, and optimize profitability.
• Oversee inventory levels, ordering, and replenishment to meet stock targets.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, cash handling, and security procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure a clean, organized store environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to interpret documents, perform mathematical calculations, and use cash register systems.
• Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and safety protocols.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience in retail management and familiarity with federal labor laws preferred.
• Bilingual skills may be advantageous depending on store location.

Physical & Work Environment

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
• Use of equipment like scanners, pricing guns, and carts; occasional ladder use.
• Fast-paced environment with exposure to outside weather conditions.
