Store Manager - Full-Time

Role Overview

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all store operations, including staffing, sales, inventory, and customer service to ensure effective store performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, train, evaluate, and retain qualified employees, ensuring proper staffing and compliance with labor laws.
• Manage daily store activities such as opening, closing, merchandising, and inventory control to meet sales and stock targets.
• Analyze operating statements to identify trends, control expenses, and reduce shrinkage.
• Maintain merchandise presentation, signage, and accurate inventory levels.
• Uphold financial integrity through cashier accountability, cash controls, and security policies.
• Lead customer service efforts, ensuring a safe, clean, and organized shopping environment.
• Follow company policies, complete documentation, and ensure team compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to interpret manuals, perform mathematical calculations, and handle cash procedures.
• Knowledge of inventory, merchandising, and safety practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent; management experience in retail is a plus.
• Certain locations may prefer bilingual (Spanish) speakers.

Physical & Working Conditions

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting (up to 55 pounds), and occasional climbing.
• The environment is fast-paced, with moderate noise, and may involve outside weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation is required for banking and management duties.
