Store Manager Candidate - Full-Time

About the Role

Support the Store Manager in daily store operations, including employee supervision, staffing, inventory, merchandising, and customer service. This position serves as a developmental role for prospective Store Managers, with responsibilities to assist in ensuring store efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training staff.
• Participate in merchandise staging, stocking, and presentation following store standards.
• Support inventory management, including damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Help maintain optimal stock levels and ensure product availability.
• Deliver excellent customer service and foster a positive shopping experience.
• Follow company procedures for cash handling, security, and store safety.
• Contribute to store opening and closing activities and safety protocols.
• Review sales and operational data to identify business trends and opportunities.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• Ability to interpret manuals, safety rules, and procedures.
• Proficiency in basic math, cash handling, and inventory practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving abilities in a dynamic environment.
• Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish) may be preferred at some locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; retail experience is advantageous.

Physical & Working Conditions

• Frequent walking, standing, lifting (up to 55 lbs), bending, and stocking.
• Occasional outdoor exposure and travel required.
• Fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels.
