Store Manager - Full Time

About the role

Responsible for managing store operations, including staffing, training, inventory, merchandising, and customer service. Ensures effective planning and implementation of all store processes, from ordering to presentation, while maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, train, evaluate, and retain qualified employees, ensuring proper staffing and compliance with labor laws.
• Conduct performance reviews, address employee development needs, and make recommendations on pay and advancement.
• Oversee daily store opening and closing, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Analyze financial statements to identify business trends, control expenses, and reduce shrinkage.
• Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stock presentation according to company standards.
• Maintain cash handling integrity, security protocols, and adherence to safety policies.
• Deliver excellent customer service, maintain store cleanliness, and ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Follow company policies, complete documentation accurately, and ensure team compliance.

Requirements

• Ability to interpret operational documents, perform mathematical calculations, and handle cash procedures.
• Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and safety practices.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience in retail management preferred; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Bilingual skills may be preferred at some locations.

Physical & Working Conditions

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds.
• Occasional climbing and outdoor exposure.
• Fast-paced environment with moderate noise, requiring mobility and physical activity.
