Store Manager - Full Time

About the Role

Responsible for managing store operations, including employee recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and adherence to policies. Ensures effective staffing, merchandise presentation, inventory control, and customer service to meet business targets.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate employees, enforcing safety and conduct standards.
• Manage store opening and closing, oversee inventory, and ensure merchandise displays meet company standards.
• Analyze sales data and operating statements to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Control inventory levels, damages, markdowns, and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure store environment, providing excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, federal and state laws, and complete all documentation accurately.

Requirements

• Ability to interpret manuals, safety rules, and procedures; proficient in math and cash handling.
• Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and retail operations.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Preferred management experience in retail and high school diploma or equivalent; bilingual skills may be advantageous.

Physical & Working Conditions

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and handling merchandise.
• Ability to lift up to 40-55 pounds and occasional use of ladders.
• Fast-paced environment with moderate noise; occasional exposure to outside weather.
