Store Manager Candidate - Full Time

Role Overview: The Store Manager Candidate supports store operations, focusing on employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. This role is designed to develop external candidates for future store management positions. Key Responsibilities Assist in recruiting, staffing, and training staff.Support store merchandising by staging, stocking, and pricing merchandise according to company standards.Manage inventory through proper damages, markdowns, and record-keeping; prepare and conduct inventories.Ensure product availability by following ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.Deliver excellent customer service and act as a role model by adhering to company policies.Participate in store opening and closing procedures; ensure safety and cleanliness.Help maintain financial integrity through cashier accountability, cash handling, and security policies.Operate the store during the manager’s absence, review sales and expense data, and complete necessary documentation. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret operational documents, perform math calculations, and learn cash register functions.Knowledge of inventory, merchandising, cash handling, and safety procedures.Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Preferred: Bilingual Spanish speakers; high school diploma or equivalent; retail experience. Physical & Work Environment: Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, and occasional use of ladders. Work is fast-paced with moderate noise, sometimes outdoors, and may involve travel.
