Store Manager Candidate - Full Time

Role Overview The Store Manager Candidate supports store operations by assisting with employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. This limited-duration role develops external candidates for future Store Manager positions. Key Responsibilities Assist in recruiting, staffing, and training staff.Support merchandising, stocking, and store presentation per company standards.Participate in inventory management, including damages, markdowns, and stock counts.Ensure product availability to meet in-stock targets.Provide excellent customer service and act as a store role model.Help with store opening, closing, and cash handling procedures.Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and security protocols.Review financial data to identify sales trends, expenses, and shrinkage.Complete required documentation accurately and timely. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret operational documents and perform basic math.Knowledge of cash handling, inventory, and merchandising practices.Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Preferred bilingual Spanish skills at some locations.High school diploma or equivalent; retail experience preferred. Physical & Work Environment Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds.Occasional climbing, driving, and exposure to weather conditions.Fast-paced environment with moderate noise level.
