Store Manager Candidate - Full-Time

Role Overview The Store Manager Candidate supports store operations by assisting with employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and store needs. This role involves fostering team development and preparing candidates for future store management positions. Key Responsibilities Assist in recruiting, staffing, and training employees.Facilitate merchandise staging, stocking, and presentation.Manage inventory, including damages, markdowns, and stock levels.Ensure optimal in-stock levels through proper ordering.Lead customer service efforts and uphold company policies.Participate in store opening and closing activities, cash handling, and security procedures.Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulations.Review sales and expenses, identify trends, and complete necessary documentation. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret operational documents and perform mathematical calculations.Knowledge of cash handling, inventory, and merchandising practices.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.Bilingual skills may be preferred in some locations. Experience & Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Retail experience is advantageous. Physical & Working Conditions Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds.Use of equipment such as scanners, carts, and ladders.Fast-paced environment with occasional outside weather exposure.Some travel required, with limited overnight stays.
