Store Manager Candidate - Full-Time

About the Role

The Store Manager Candidate supports store operations by assisting in employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with staffing, merchandising, inventory, and store presentation.
• Support customer service excellence and safety standards.
• Manage cash, deposits, and store security.
• Review sales and expense reports to identify trends and opportunities.
• Ensure store compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Participate in opening and closing store activities.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, stocking, and occasional outdoor work.
• Participate in recruiting efforts.
• Ensure merchandise presentation meets standards.
• Handle cash, safeguard funds, and operate the store in the manager’s absence.
• Review financial statements and execute store procedures.

Requirements

• Effective communication, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of cash handling, inventory practices, and retail operations.
• Bilingual Spanish speakers may be preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Retail experience advantageous.
