Store Manager Candidate

Role Overview

The Store Manager Candidate supports store operations by assisting with employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. This role involves implementing store processes, participating in hiring, and ensuring store presentation aligns with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, staffing, and training employees.
• Facilitate merchandise staging, stocking, and pricing.
• Manage inventory, including damages, markdowns, and stock levels.
• Support in store opening, closing, and cash handling procedures.
• Ensure a safe, clean environment and adherence to security policies.
• Analyze sales, labor, and inventory data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Operate the store in the absence of the Store Manager.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail experience is advantageous.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and learn cash register functions.
• Knowledge of inventory, merchandising, cash handling, and safety procedures.
• Ability to solve problems and adapt to various situations.
• Preferred bilingual skills in some locations.

Physical & Work Environment

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting (up to 55 lbs).
• Occasional climbing and driving required.
• Fast-paced setting with moderate noise; exposure to outside weather conditions at times.
