Store Manager Candidate

Role Overview The Store Manager Candidate supports store operations by assisting with employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. This limited-duration role focuses on developing external candidates for future Store Manager positions. Key Responsibilities Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training staff.Participate in merchandising, stocking, and presentation of products.Manage inventory, including damages, markdowns, and proper stock levels.Ensure excellent customer service and store cleanliness.Support financial integrity through cash handling, cashier accountability, and security procedures.Help with store opening/closing, safety, and compliance activities.Review sales and expense reports to identify trends and opportunities.Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly. Qualifications And Skills Ability to interpret operational documents and perform basic math.Knowledge of cash handling, inventory, and merchandising practices.Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Preferred: Bilingual Spanish speakers; high school diploma or equivalent; retail experience is advantageous. Physical And Working Conditions Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds.Occasional use of ladders and driving for store-related tasks.Fast-paced environment with moderate noise and exposure to weather conditions.
