Store Manager Candidate

Role Overview: The Store Manager Candidate supports the Store Manager in supervising store operations, including staffing, inventory, merchandising, and customer service. This limited-term role aims to develop external candidates for the Store Manager position. Key Responsibilities Assist with recruiting, staffing, and training employees.Support store merchandising, stocking, and presentation following company standards.Manage inventory processes, including damages, markdowns, and stock levels.Ensure proper cash handling, cashier accountability, and store security.Participate in store opening and closing activities, maintaining a safe and clean environment.Analyze sales, expenses, and inventory data to identify trends and opportunities.Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and timely.Operate the store in the manager's absence and support financial integrity. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret manuals, safety rules, and procedures.Proficiency in basic math, cash handling, and inventory management.Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of retail practices, security policies, and hiring procedures.Bilingual skills may be preferred depending on location. Experience & Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with at least one year of retail experience being advantageous. Additional Competencies: Demonstrates alignment with company values, supports team development, fosters collaboration, and maintains customer focus. Ensures compliance with labor laws and company policies. Physical & Working Conditions: Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, and occasional climbing or driving.
