Store Manager Candidate

About the role

The Store Manager Candidate supports store operations by assisting with employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. This role involves implementing store processes, recruiting, and ensuring a safe, clean environment. It prepares individuals for future Store Manager positions through interactive development and hands‑on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, staffing, and training staff.
• Support merchandising, stocking, and proper product presentation.
• Manage inventory, including damages, markdowns, and stock levels.
• Ensure excellent customer service and compliance with company policies.
• Participate in store opening and closing activities and handle store funds securely.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and security standards.
• Review financial statements to identify trends and control expenses.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• Strong reading, math, and cash handling skills.
• Knowledge of inventory, merchandising, and safety procedures.
• Effective communication, organization, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Bilingual skills may be preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Retail experience is advantageous.

Physical & Working Conditions
