Store Manager Candidate

Role Overview The Store Manager Candidate supports the Store Manager in executing store operations, including employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. This role serves as a developmental stepping stone towards becoming a Store Manager. Key Responsibilities Assist with recruiting, staffing, and onboarding of employees.Participate in merchandising activities, ensuring proper stocking, signage, and presentation.Support inventory management, including stock accuracy, damages, markdowns, and conducting inventories.Help maintain store safety, cleanliness, and a secure environment for staff and customers.Contribute to financial activities such as cash handling, cashier accountability, and cash control procedures.Review operational metrics to identify sales, expense, and inventory trends.Perform opening and closing procedures, and operate the store in the manager's absence. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret operational documents and perform mathematical calculations.Knowledge of cash handling, inventory, merchandising, and safety policies.Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Problem-solving ability and adaptability in varied situations.Preferred: Bilingual Spanish speakers and retail experience. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Retail experience is advantageous for external candidates.
